About Me:
I am excited to be your child's teacher this year!
I have been teaching for the past twenty years. Seventeen years have been in Kindergarten in CISD.  I moved to Texas in July 2000 from the beautiful island of Guam.  In my spare time, I enjoy scrapbooking (arts & crafts), baking and spending quality time with my family.   My husband Rod and I have two beautiful children.  Tasi is a Freshman at Oakridge High School and D'Juan is in the Sixth grade at Cox Intermediate .

Gold Coins:  Your child will receive coins throughout the day for "Star behavior." Coins can be used to get something from the "TREASURE CHEST" or have lunch with the teacher.

Daily Folder:  Please have your child bring their teal daily folder everyday.  Parents, please initial the appropriate box for each day. Please put all notes to teacher in this daily folder.  

Guided Reading Folder:  Please return every day (starts in November)

Homework Folder:  Please return homework folder on Friday(starts in October)

11262011_75443_0.pngLunch money:  Please put your child's lunch money in a sealed envelope with his/her name on it.  
11262011_75015_0.pngBirthday Parties:  Birthday parties will be held at the end of the day in our classroom.  You may bring store bought cookies/ brownies and juice(clear liquid please).  Please send me a note or call me a few days before your child's birthday to make arrangements.

11262011_75520_1.jpgSnack:  Please provide a snack for your child every day. We have snack on most days.    Here are some suggestions:  goldfish, pretzels, crackers, animal crackers NO sticky foods or items that need a spoon, chocolate, etc..

11262011_75143_3.png  11262011_75143_4.png Change of clothes:  Please pack a change of clothes in your child's backpack in case of an emergency.  Label all of your child's belongings.  You may want to put your child's clothes in a ziploc bag.
